Flexispot sent us their C7 Premium Ergonomic Office Chair. We checked it out to see if it could be beneficial to you.
Flexispot previously sent us their E7 Premium Standing Desk, a motorized adjustable table that was attractive, sturdy, and functional, earning a five-star review and an Photofocus Editor’s Choice. I was curious to see how the ergonomic office chair would compare.
Note: Flexispot sent us the C7 Premium Ergonomic Office Chair with mesh cushion and no foot rest. However, this is a completely independent review. All thoughts about this desk are our own.

Assembly instructions
The instruction book for assembly does a good job illustrating the parts and screws to use. It also illustrates the different stages of assembly well. You don’t need any tools either. All you need is the included Allen wrench (hex key). Also, Flexispot gets extra points for including an extra screw of each size.
However, some of the descriptions were not clear, such as on page three. We never could figure out why we had to “push the handle and the mechanism to the end following the arrow direction at the same time so the screw holes appear.” The screw holes never seemed to appear. Or maybe they were already there. It didn’t seem to matter whether we did this or not. We finally just screwed it on.
We had a challenging time determining where to place the bottom assembly on the chair when looking at the exploded view in Figure 5.
Finally, three of the bolts didn’t fit very well initially. Using a graphite spray seemed to help.

Ergonomics
The chair is comfortable. It’s also adjustable, so you can tailor it to your liking. I especially like having the arm rests raise and lower easily. This is done via buttons on the bottom of the armrest.
You can have the chair lean quite far, which is great for resting. Furthermore, I find the level of resistance of the back of the chair to be quite pleasing. The chair base feels sturdy, which means that when I lean back, I never feel like it is about to tip over. I am convinced that I could fall asleep in this chair in the reclining position, it is that comfortable and stable.
The head rest also raises and lowers as well. If there’s a way to lock this in place, I can’t find it. Consequently, I find that when I lean back and place my head on it, the head rest will occasionally inadvertently adjust.
The breathable mesh is rather nice. Furthermore, it seems to be nice whether it is warm or cool in the room.
Build quality
The base is appropriately heavy, and the build quality feels sturdy. The overall build and movement of the chair inspires confidence and feels like a chair that you would have in your office for many years.
Furthermore, the arm rests are soft without having fabric or fake leather. Although I haven’t tested the chair for five or ten years to know for sure, I suspect that these arm rests will look attractive and last for many years. Other chairs that have fabric or fake leather often seem to wear or crack after a short period of time.

The chair is very easy to keep clean and attractive.
The whole chair, including the mesh fabric, has the perfect amount of “give.” I feel firm and supported while sitting in the chair at all angles, including sitting cross-legged.
Several people walked in to my office and immediately made comments about how attractive my new chair looked without me mentioning that I had replaced my previous chair. And indeed, it does look attractive without dominating the room, due in part to the breathable mesh fabric.
