This year’s Video Creators Virtual Summit is actually two virtual summits in one: The Adobe Premier Pro Virtual Summit and the After Effects Virtual Summit. The included pre-training is not compulsory to complete before joining the Summit classes, but is there for anyone needing a crash course in Premier Pro and After Effects. Don’t miss Rich Harrington’s classes on using Photoshop for video
Our very own publisher Rich Harrington (who is also an Adobe Certified Trainer) literally wrote the book on using Photoshop for Video. In his training series for the Virtual Summit you can expect to explore this in depth. Rich will be teaching 10 Ways to Use Photoshop with Adobe Premier Pro, to get you on top of these essential skills. Problem-solving with LUTs and reverse engineering advanced color recipes are not to be missed in this class.
Rich will also be showing you how to bring photographs to life with motion and depth in After Effects with his class Motion Control 3D: Bringing Photos to Life in After Effects. You’ll explore how to move seamlessly between Photoshop and After Effects to add 3D perspective and motion to layers in your photograph.

Andy Ford: Must-see training on After Effects Expressions and animating text
Andy Ford, one of our very own authors here at Photofocus, is going to be delivering classes on core After Effects skills to improve your videos. As an Adobe Certified Professional in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Video Design, make sure you add Andy’s classes to your must-watch list for the week.

I’m particularly excited for Glyn’s course on Plan, Record, Edit – Creating your First Video. As a newcomer to video, it’s getting started that I need guidance on. Glyn will cover essential planning techniques like storyboarding that will save time shooting, as well as how to record video and audio content. After that, it’s to the edit room. He’ll show how to bring it all together, including using stock video, music and sound to produce a polished final video.

John Knowles: Using Adobe AI features with After Effects
John Knowles is an Adobe Creative Cloud trainer with extensive experience. He is bringing that expertise to the table in his course Adobe AI Tools Integration with After Effects. In this class John will show you how to unlock the full potential of AI with your After Effects projects.
