Why I picked this image:
Good street photographers need a good eye for the extraordinary in the ordinary. And they also need to be quick with their gear and nail the timing of the shot.
This image by Guillaume does just that. And it is another example, that not only humans need to be in a street photo to make it interesting. Even the absence of humans can make the image – especially when an animal takes over a position that is usually filled by a human.
This dog seems to be in control of this bar, waiting for a customer to order the next pint. I wonder if the sign outside this bar reads “No humans allowed inside”? ;)
