Enter the Tamron User Photo/Video Contest 2023 until October 31 to win in seven categories!

Tamron Americas recently announced the Tamron User Photo/Video Contest 2023. This exciting competition invites photography and videography enthusiasts using Tamron lenses from the USA, Canada, and Mexico to enter for a chance to win incredible prizes, including cash awards and a selection of premium lenses. The deadline to enter is October 31, 2023.

The Tamron User Photo/Video Contest 2023 provides a platform for photographers and videographers in the USA, Canada and Mexico using Tamron lenses to share their unique perspectives and talents while having the opportunity to win fantastic prizes.

“The creativity and skill of our users is incredible, and we are always thrilled to see the world through our users’ lenses,” stated Stacie Errera, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Tamron Americas. “This contest is our first that brings together users in North and Latin America, and we encourage all eligible participants to unleash their creativity, capture breathtaking still and video moments, and submit their entries for a chance to be recognized as a distinguished talent in the world of photography and videography.”

Participants may submit one entry per category. The contest features the following categories:

Prizes

Tamron is offering a spectacular array of prizes to recognize and reward exceptional talent. Winners will have the opportunity to choose from a range of Tamron lenses tailored to their camera system, including Sony E-mount (Full-Frame and APS-C), FUJIFILM X-mount (APS-C), Nikon Z mount (Full-Frame), Canon DSLR mount (Full-Frame and APS-C), and Nikon DSLR mount (Full-Frame and APS-C).

  • Photo & Video Grand Prize Winners: Each recipient will receive $500 in addition to the opportunity to select a Tamron lens valued up to $1499 USD / $1999 CAD. Furthermore, winners will receive a prominent digital editorial profile and a special feature on social media.
  • Photo Category First Place Winners: One winner per category will win their choice of a select Tamron lens valued up to $1499 / $1999 CAD. These winners will also receive a digital editorial profile and a feature on social media.
  • Honorable Mention Winners: Five winners in each category will receive an exclusive Tamron apparel pack, comprising a Tamron t-shirt, beanie hat, and retreat case. Additionally, these winners will be showcased on Tamron’s social media.

Guest judges

An esteemed panel of Tamron’s Creative Collaborative professional photographers and videographers will evaluate entries in each category, ensuring a fair and impartial selection of winners.

Judging process

An esteemed panel of guest judges will judge the entries based on creativity and overall quality. Each entry is eligible to win in only one category. The winners will be announced after the judging process is completed. Each potential winner will be required to fulfill certain conditions as outlined in the contest rules.

Contest rules

Contestants are encouraged to read the contest rules carefully to ensure their submissions adhere to guidelines, including the requirement that all photos and videos be taken with a Tamron lens. Tamron reserves the right to eliminate any inappropriate submissions or entries not captured with a Tamron lens.
