Why I chose this image from Mati

Typically we like to hear about how our spotlight images were created, from getting the shot to post-processing. But, this image caught my eye and I wanted to share it with you. It’s not very often we are privileged to see nature in action in this way. Unless we’re watching NatGeo or BBC nature programs.

I love how he captured the moment and was fortunate to have the framing of the tree and branch.

Please join us in the Photofocus Community and find the complete description and instructions on how to submit your image for consideration here.

Please only submit one image at a time and for now only one submission per person. We’ll ask for more at a later date if we need them. If you have any questions, comment here or send me a message within the community. We look forward to your submissions.
