Sometimes a minimalist, subdued image can have a powerful impact. Joe’s capture of a leaf floating in the water is just that — a capture that can make your mind wander. As I type this, the leaves have begun to change locally — and it’s the end of August. Joe’s photograph was taken Aug. 31. Just another sign that fall is starting to come.
