Public transportation is one of the most common settings for street photography, for obvious reasons. We all commute on a daily (or almost daily) basis, so it’s inevitable to find interesting slices of life en route to your destination. As such, street photographers of all skill levels, then and now, keep their eyes peeled for scenes to capture and immortalize. In the quick video above, Shane and Josh of Framelines talk about doing street photography on public transport, and share their own tips and advice for those who want to give it a try (or get better at doing it. These include lens choices, common camera settings, and finding light. Understandably, it can get tricky, especially when photographing people or taking photos through glass.
