As with any photography genre, shooting street will require the right camera settings for the best results. However, it’s understandable if, as a beginner, you find yourself struggling or unsure about the settings to use to get the shots you want. So, to help with that, we have Roman Fox sharing his quick and simple street photography camera settings for you to try.
In the video above, Fox also noted that he has updated these essential camera settings based on how he takes photos at present. He added that it’s also important to remember that the correct camera settings allow you to take photos you want. The goal is to be able to use your camera confidently without fiddling too much with which button does what.
Fox then shared his tips in three parts: buttons, exposure and focusing. While he referenced Fujifilm cameras specifically, the settings and principles he discussed also still apply to other brands. With his suggestions, you should be able to avoid wasting precious time fumbling with your camera and focus on the scene in front of you instead.
