Are you looking for a new challenge for your street photography this year? How about trying something that may be totally new and unexpected to you? Something like getting a cheap film camera and running a couple of film rolls in it?

This is exactly what street photographer Pierre Lambert recently did and shared in the video above. During his trip to Japan, he picked up a mint Konica C35 for $15 and shot some streets snaps on film for the first time. I’m sure most of you will agree that he couldn’t have picked a better time to grab a film camera and try street photography with it. Japan and film photography simply go well together, and looks like it gave him a good experience trying it out. He even had the photos printed out, just like the old times!

Looking at the photos he ended up with, he actually got some interesting ones. Despite a bunch of out of focus and light-leaked snaps, did really well!

So, are you interested in taking up this challenge as well ? Curious about trying street photography in film for the first time? Any film camera you’d like to give it a go with?
