A QuickCollection is like a great timesaver in Mylio Photos where you can group photos based on what you want. For example, you can make a QuickCollection that shows all your top-rated bird pictures or just the photos you took with your Canon camera in the last year.

What is a QuickCollection?

These collections change automatically. If you add new photos that match your rules, they’ll show up in your QuickCollection right away. You can make your own QuickCollections or use the ones already in Mylio Photos.

Basically, QuickCollections help you organize and find your photos easily based on what’s important to you.

How to create a Custom QuickCollection in Mylio Photos

1. Click the funnel icon in the left sidebar to open QuickFilters.

2. Add the QuickFilters you’d like to use in your QuickCollection. In this example, we’ll create a QuickCollection with every Raw photo in the Mylio Photos Library captured with a Canon camera.

  • Under By File, click the disclosure arrow next to By File Type, then click the disclosure arrow next to Photos and add RAW.
  • Under By Camera & Lenses, click the disclosure arrow next to By Camera, then add the Canon QuickFilter.
  • If you want to stack items from the same category, click the pin icon next to the name.

3. Click the QuickCollection icon and choose Save as New QuickCollection.

4. Enter a name for your QuickCollection then click or tap the Save button.

You can now reload the QuickCollection from its menu whenever you want to use it. It will work in any view and is a great way to narrow things down when browsing.
