I probably would have entered into the mirror less camera world but the bodies are too small for my hands. So I bought the last DLSR Nikon will make D850, but now, the rumours are a Z 8 might be released that is similar in size to the d850 so if that become true, then I will move into the mirrorless world. I Also replaced a couple of my heavier 2.8 Nikon lenses, for a sigma 150-600mm to lighten the weight of my backpack.
