Why I picked this image: This image captured a happy emotional moment in a candid street portrait style. While long tele lenses are not the common tool for street photography, it may not have been possible to get the undisturbed and honest emotion in this image at a closer distance.
Once people realize that their photo is being taken, they usually change their expression and behavior and the magic of the moment is lost.
