Are you a street photographer still looking for the next best lens for your Fujifilm camera? Samuel Lintaro Hopf recently took the new Cosina Voigtländer 27mm f/2 Ultron lens for Fujifilm out for a spin and shared his findings. So, if the lens somehow made its way to your radar and are curious about it, this is the video for you!
In his intro, Samuel asked, do we really need another 27mm (or 28mm) lenses for Fujifilm cameras? He mentioned four lenses from various brands that have been around for some time, plus another one on the way. So, he briefly introduces the new Voigtländer lens to give us an idea about what’s so special about it. For one, it’s the first to come with a focus tab. Also, its distance scale has an accurate infinity setting. You might also be excited to know that it’s all metal, and thus, feels premium.
Along with some first impressions, he also gave some quick distance scale tips to make sure you get accurately focused photos with this lens. This is important when you’re doing street photography in different lighting conditions.
