I recently saw them for the first time at a photographic convention and was really impressed with just how quickly and easily they could be set up and taken down.
With the Phottix Capsule series, the days of struggling with softbox assembly are over. Simply pop it open, configure the Capsule into one of its five setups, attach your studio light, and you’re instantly prepared to shoot. The softboxes in the Capsule series are equipped with a versatile “Bowens” style S-mount attachment, offering compatibility with a large range of studio lights. I was more than happy to try and review the 85cm G-Caspule when I was offered a kit. It did not disappoint.

Each Capsule softbox includes essential accessories such as a white diffusion, an inner baffle, a beauty dish, a grid, and an umbrella. A convenient zippered carrying case completes the package, ensuring easy transport and storage. The G-Capsule also comes with a fabulous magnetic gel filter holder and four gel filters, enhancing creative possibilities for your lighting setup.

The Phottix G-Capsule also comes in 40cm, 65cm and 105cm, there is also a ‘deep’ version. The diffusion and beauty dish accessories are fantastic for a variety of shooting styles and genres from still life to portraits. They also have Stripbox version, which works great for product photography.
