Argus Seventy-Five was my first camera. Used Kodak 620 B&W Film. I was five or six when I first got it from my grandmother. For the full story see – http://www.belphotos.me/date/2008/02/
My first camera was a Kodak 126 instamatic. It had a wind up motor drive! I know, right? WOOOOOO!
After my dad decided I had showed enough interest in the operations and techniques, I got to have the Argus C-3 he bought while in the Army! That was my first serious camera.
My first camera was a 110mm camera I got as a gift. The first camera I bought (and my first digital camera) was an Agfa ePhoto 780c, which took 1024×768 photos, which I thought was pretty amazing at the time.
Hanimex 108F (110 camera took chocolate bar flash that smelled like freshly struck matches when (if) it fired.
Nikonos II in 1971. If you start your photography career with an underwater film camera, it only gets easier as you progress.
A Nikon Point and Shoot. Took so many snaps with it without any idea on how to compose or process! Now when I look back at all those snaps which I thought was spectacular then… I am like what in the world! LOL
Had the old Minolta SRT101 35 mm.
My first camera was AGFA isoly MAT. my dad presented it to me on my 15 th birthday. on my 21st birthday i purchased MINOLTA X300 with 28-75 f/3.5-5.5 lens & VIVITAR 385 FLASH.
A Pentax MZ-M – 35mm film camera, manual focus. A 50mm lens to start with (which is still my favourite combo). Small, light, easy to use, nice viewfinder. I used it for close on ten years, shooting mostly colour slide film. A lot of my best-selling prints are still those taken with that camera and lens.
