Hasselblad cameras are always anticipated. As such, it’s always interesting to see photographers get their first hands-on experience with the latest release. So, if that’s your thing and want to satisfy your curiosity on the newly-launched Hasselblad X2D 100C, here’s a first look video for you!

We know by now that the rumored specs are pretty much on point. But how does that translate in actual shooting experience? In the video above, we have UK-based Kaiman Wong sharing his insights on the new Hasselblad X2D. He covers its noteworthy physical features and the handling and shooting experience it provides. For example, apart from the CFexpress Type B card support, it also comes with a built-in 1 TB SSD storage for those big, detail-rich files. He also noted that the lenses contain the shutter mechanism, not the camera body. So, if you’re thinking of adapting lenses, you’ll need to use electronic shutter.

In addition, instead of shooting studio portraits or landscapes (as Hasselblad cameras are typically used for), Kai tested it out in the streets. This is so he could see if the 294 Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and IBIS could be fast and versatile enough for street photography.
