As with many things in life, we tend to develop some bad habits as we move forward in our photography practice. Sometimes we catch ourselves early, or someone calls our attention about it. Whichever the case, it pays to be aware of bad street photography habits and be decisive about what to do about them.

In the video above, Japan-based street photographer Adrien Sanguinetti jumps straight into the bad street photography habits commonly seen in most photographers. He also explains what makes them bad practices and how they tend to jeopardize our work.

For example, chimping or checking your images after each shot may seem harmless or even practical at first. However, Sanguinetti noted that this practice actually subjects photographers to an emotional rollercoaster can affect flow or mood during a shoot.
