Whether you’re a long-time film photographer or just getting into the emulsional magic, I’m sure nothing excites you than the news of a new film. In case you’re curious about Lomography’s new LomoChrome Color ‘92, the folks of Analog Insights just shared how shooting their test roll went down.

But first, they shared some bits of info about the new Lomography film in the video description. “LomoChrome Color ’92 is a brand-new color negative film emulsion rated at ISO 400 that can be developed in the standard C-41 process. Initially, it will only be available as 35mm but Lomography intends to also produce it as 120 and 110 rolls in the future. It will be sold in individual boxes as well. The new film’s marketing material and packaging takes you back to the punchy and sometimes surreal colors of 1990s movies.”

They loaded the LomoChrome Color ‘92 in a Leica M6 TTL and headed out for a photo walk in New York City. They had a good mix of street and portrait photos to show whether this brand new emulsion indeed emulate the 90s look and feel.

So, do you agree with the Analog Insights findings based on their test photos? What would you shoot with this brand new Lomography emulsion? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below, or in our group discussions if you’re already part of the Photofocus Community!
