Using Firefly AI, Adobe has released Generative Fill in Photoshop Beta. It’s a great way to gain efficiency with altering, extending, or replacing content in your scene. It can even generate ideas from scratch with just some text inputs. Use it to get ideas or perform fine-tuning more quickly.

The lines are certainly starting to blur between real and generated content, so keep ethical considerations in mind.

To use, simply mask an area of your image and select Generative Fill. This will appear if you have the Contextual Task Bar showing. Otherwise, right-click to get the option. The type in a few words about what you would like to see. Adobe will generate a few options, which you can look through and mark as good or poor.
