Submitting photos to Adobe Stock has just become a whole lot easier thanks to the new Contributor Portal. Most stock photo photographers will tell you that keywords are a very important part of their success in selling their images. Adobe Stock has just made the process even simpler in the new Contributor Portal and the Keyword Suggestion Tool. Although its Beta, I found it to be very effective: I uploaded several sample images – without any keywords in the metadata – and 5 keywords were automatically generated. It’s pretty impressive how quickly the keywords are suggested, and how accurate they were – in my test images there were only 1 or 2 keywords that I changed.

As an added bonus, you can upload your images directly from Bridge and Lightroom (once you have updated to the latest versions). In Bridge, drag photos into the Publish panel and then go to the Contributor Portal to check the keywords and submit the photos.

It works the same way in Lightroom, using the Adobe Stock option in Publish Services.

You can upload jpeg files, AI or EPS files and videos. For more information on Adobe Stock and the Contributor Portal go to https://contributor.stock.adobe.com.
