Have shot many years 4×5, operating my own art gallery. Have heard far too many times photographers statement that digital manipulation just artful license, that truth doesnt matter. So often i see landscape photographs slightly or more manipulated beyond reality. I also hear from customers they believe these photographs truthful. If a photographer manipulates, then MANIPULATE as an art form, not lieing to people that it truthful. Black and white is different, meant to be manipulated…color should be truth.
