Why I picked this image:

Looking at the history of street photography, kids playing on the streets have been a common theme of street photography for a century. And over time it has become an important visual memory of our societies and cultures.

While I currently see kids in my neighborhood running around the streets, capturing virtual Pokemons with their smartphones, this kid in Guatemala is having fun making handmarks on a dusty truck canvas. Pat captured a wonderful street image with future documentary character. Well done!

What kind of games are the kids in your area playing these days?
