Why I picked this image:

This image is a good example of how to use perspective, reflections and timing to create an interesting street photo. I like the leading lines that the man walks along and that leads my eye to the car. The man dressed all in white was captured perfectly on the rules of thirds against the dark background with nice separation of the legs during his stride. The reflexion in the water is an extra bonus.

But I also see a story in this image. Is the man walking to his car? Is someone waiting for him or is he about to get ambushed? Is he wearing headphones because he’s part of the secret service? Or is the car simply going to speed down the alley’s puddle and splashes water all over the guy?

So many potential stories if you take the time to study a good image.
