Why I picked this image: Laundromats have always been interesting to me as they are a public place for the rather intimate chore of washing ones dirty clothes. And this can make it a bit of a touchy scene to take photos in. But I have also experienced laundromats that are local meeting places for neighbourhoods.

Michael captured a scene at a laundromat that many can relate to. While the laundry is being washed, a small kid has to wait until the clothes are done and they can all go home. Kids have the ability to make the best of situations like this and can turn a laundry basket into a house, boat or rocket like it is the most normal thing in the world. This is a nice slice of life that was captured here.
