Why I picked this image: This image shows an ordinary scene of a man walking on a sidewalk. But due to the framing, crop and timing it turns into an interesting image that can carry a larger meaning. The photographer managed to align his human subject with the writing on the wall in a “juxtaposition” that tells the story here. The letters “ART” are on the wall while the man walking by it is all covered up with a big turtle neck and a warm wool cap pulled deep into his face. All that you can see are the eyes of the man looking a bit critical at the writing “ART” on the wall.

Although the man probably had no critical thought about the writing on the wall at that time, I do see the story here that the image could be used as a cover image to question the relevance or sense of meaning of some art.
