I am an Artist/photographer based in the northeast of England from a town called Gateshead, married and dad of two beautiful kids who are my biggest inspiration! I love compositing images. It just feels right, the whole process absolutely grabs me! I do get a hunger for it which does need fed constantly and this just drives me forward to craft a career in this style!
This is a portrait of a friend of mine Griff. A couple of days prior to the shoot I photographed backgrounds around the city of Newcastle. With Griff in mind, I wanted an edgy dramatic look to the portraits to try and capture a side of him not normally seen. This guy is so easy going, nothing seems to phase him and he has an unbelievable amount of energy.

The compositing is where it really comes to life. I tend to have an idea of what I want it to look like and watching it unfold on the screen gives me a huge buzz! I have been working on my compositing techniques over the last 3 years and have found a format which suits my style after hours of trying different ways to achieve a look. And that’s the great thing that I love about this process is that there are so many different ways to create a unique look and style. The possibilities seem endless.
