This photograph was taken in a forest near my home in essex.I always wanted to shoot a surreal dreamy type image in the fog, so we got our props the long victorian night gown and an a white sun umbrella and set out one foggy morning. I combined shots to make it appear as though i was floating. It took many attempts to get the shot right, and we was working against the clock as the sun came up and the fog began to fade. It was a freezing cold morning as well which made it even more difficult with the lack of warm clothing! Amanda

Were excited to feature your work to the Photofocus audience!
I’d much rather see photographs featured that are not so heavily reliant upon Photoshop.
People did the exact same thing in darkrooms more than a hundred years ago. Who cares… still took vision, creativity, and expertise. We profile and feature all kinds of work. Not all of it may match your style, but that doesn’t make it wrong.
Point very well taken. My asthetic has changed dramatically since I’ve been shooting mostly medium format Hasselblad film. I wasn’t saying it was “wrong”, just trying to convey my desire to see well made images done in camera, as opposed to on the computer.
That’s Hasselblad- responding via iPhone! Thanks for your wonderful site and podcast. A
This is beautiful.
