Philadelphia is a city I once visited for a few hours, and now that I’ve got a chance to photowalk it with you and see it up close and make pictures with its people, I’m really excited. For this photowalk we’ve got a terrific route chosen. We’ll see the city, maybe find a few people to photograph, and if we can keep moving along, we may even get down to the water for some reflection work. I really can’t wait–we’re definitely going by the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall!

This is a hands-on shooting time when you can practice various techniques, like dragging the shutter, long exposures, and light placement for the most flattering portraits. All skill levels are welcome!

Here are some pictures I’ve made during recent photowalks.

We’re really pleased to team up with Perfectly Clear for this event. This is a free event, and I’ve got some raffle prizes, including licenses to Perfectly Clear,

This is a hands-on shooting time: bring your camera and tripod with fresh batteries and empty memory card. I’ll be using Perfectly Clear with Lightroom and Photoshop to finish my pictures, later, and I encourage you to download the free trial and give it a shot and see how it can make a big impact on your work (they’re our sponsor, after all).

What to Bring

Bring your camera with fresh batteries and memory cards. I expect we’ll focus on cityscapes and architecture, but i’m always happy to find people on the way, too. Bring a jacket–the weather forecast looks great, but it will be evening. Remember to bring a fun attitude, too :D
