Lightroom Hangout: Demystifying Import

Rob Sylvan 10/26/2015 0

You gotta join us live for our next, totally free, Google+ Lightroom Hangout! Not only will you learn terrific tips and techniques, but if you tune in live you can be entered to win excellent prizes to help you in your work. (Note: MUST BE TUNED IN LIVE TO WIN).

We’ll be giving away a copy of Photomatix from HDRSoft. Plus you never know what else.

We kick off Friday 10/30, 12:00pm Eastern, 11:00am Central, 10:00am Mountain, and 9:00am Pacific. 1:30pm in Newfoundland.

RSVP here and it’ll show your local time.

This Month: Demystifying Import

Understanding Lightroom’s import process is the key to understanding the Lightroom paradigm. The Import screen has been big news this month after Adobe released a change in the CC 2015.2/6.2 update that drastically changed its appearance and its functionality. The negative reaction to that change resulted in Adobe announcing it will be rolling back to the original Import screen in the next Lightroom update.

Tune in Live to enter the raffles for some terrific prizes from our sponsors. If you can’t make the live event you won’t be able to win any prizes, but you can always watch the archived video here on Photofocus.

The video will broadcast live right here, and be embedded here forever; but if you want to ask questions and be entered for a prize, you’ve gotta go to the G+ page here. Brought to you HDRsoft, makers of Photomatix for HDR.

You can register for free here SIGN UP. To learn more about how Google Hangouts work, click here http://www.google.com/+/learnmore/hangouts/. Joining the hangout will let you ask questions and chat with attendees. The video will also stream above in this post.
