In her spare time she enjoys DIY projects, playing guitar and mandolin, obsessing over Apple products, and driving her Mini Cooper. She’s an awesome and fun goofball and I’ve found that she gets addicted to starting and voting for photos on some websites.

I’ve been trying to pick a photographer’s brain for months, and no one I knew directly or even through a friend would respond until a doctor put me into a Pro who teaches the craft. It’s weird how they’ll freely share their work, but not their wisdom. Although I get it. I live in the city that churns out movies and television, and people have to guard their creativity.

Hopefully you will be able to find people who aren’t afraid to freely share information, and then one day you’ll be able to be the person freely handing out info to build up other photographers! :)

I am a still-life photographer, but so much of your advice is applicable to the world of still-life photography, as it is to portrait photography. When I took my first steps into the wide world of photography, I was utterly distressed by the amount of business knowledge I was supposed to already posses.
