This past weekend, I erased my MacBook Pro and re-installed Apples latest operating system, Yosemite. It might take a little longer to get up and running, but doing a clean install removes the junk and cache files that slow down your computer. Most of my computers files are on the cloud, so it was pretty easy to get set up. Download Google Drive. Check. Download Dropbox. Check. Download 1Password. Check. Download Adobe Creative Cloud. . .
I wanted to reinstall my Creative Cloud apps and it took me a while to find out where to download. To begin, I went to Adobes website and logged in. I could Manage my Account and see all the plans, but no Download button.
I tried going to the Photoshop page, and my only options were Download Trial or Learn More. Im already a subscriber! Why can’t I just click Download the Creative Cloud Installer/Manager?
When I first clicked on Creative Cloud, it brought me to a splash page where I could learn about Creative Cloud. That wasn’t it.
After a little more digging, I finally found the answer. You have to visit the Creative Cloud product page to find the Download button, which you can get to by clicking here.
Once downloaded, you’ll be prompted to log in with your Adobe ID and accept the license terms. Now you can begin installing all of your Creative Cloud apps.
While I was eventually able to find Download button, it took a lot of digging. I really think there should be a download link on any of Adobe’s apps pages, especially if you’re logged in. There were 4+ spots that showed all the desktop, mobile, add ons, assets, files, etc. that didn’t have a link to download them. The best spot, in my opinion, is right next to the “My Account” button. Move it over and put “Download”. I’m confident that Adobe add a Download button sooner rather than later, but for now visit the Creative Cloud page by clicking here.
I’ve experienced the same issue. It’s almost like Adobe doesn’t want people to download Creative Cloud. Strange.
Larry, I thought the same thing when I first started looking for the button.
Thank you very much for this! Even the workers couldn’t just tell me how to find it. You’re more helpful than their staff.
thanks for this, every time I go to install on a new computer, I have to go look for this again. It’s amazing how Adobe makes this one piece so hard to find.

They have still not added the download button to anywhere reasonable. As of today, April 11, 2015. Blergh.
Awesome, thanks!
Thanks for this, I hit exactly the same issue following a clean install.
perfect! Thanks :)
This was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you so much.
Big help! Thank you.
