Has this ever happened to you? It’s a great session. The model is beautiful. The light is perfect. You have totally nailed it. Everything is just right… except on review there’s a tiny little hair running from her eyebrow down through across her lashes then through her eye. It has to be retouched away. There are great tools in Photoshop to remove this itty, bitty nuisance. I can hear you now: “Every other part is perfect. Why can’t I do this in Lightroom?”

Perfect! Except for that one little tiny hair across her eye...
Perfect! Except for that one little tiny hair across her eye…

Well good news. You can. You can use Camera Raw in Bridge or Photoshop, too. I’ve made a video that shows “how to” in both apps. Best of all, since the work is done in the RAW file, it is completely non-destructive. Any other modifications or versions made in Lightroom or Camera Raw won’t require removing it again. Once something is finished in the RAW photo, all versions have that fix.
