Every weekend we spotlight a photographer who’s work has impacted the industry. Diane Arbus (19231971) was an American photographer and writer. Her specialty was black and white photography. She produced square photos of deviant and marginal people or of people whose normality seems ugly or surreal. Her goal was to reveal the difference between what people wanted others to see and what they really did see the flaws.
