I had a great short film pass across my Facebook stream. With vibrant colors and classic editing pace, filmmaker shows his footage from a recent trip to Cuba. There are two things I like about this film. First, it gives a great portrait of a country and its people. Second, Paul shot the whole thing handheld with only a 50mm lens (proving that gear isn’t everything).

Here’s his description:

A trip with my girlfriend through a broken, but absolutely beautiful island!
Lagged and broken, because of consequence of an economical embargo and communism in the early past….
