Iteration or a repetition of the subject is makes for pleasing composition. Notice how the mother wolf and her pup repeat a theme? They are both looking in the same direction. They’re both in profile. There are two of them. They are in harmony with each other repeating a pattern.
When you are out looking for great compositions, look for iteration. The human eye is trained to look for it, so why not use that to hold the viewer’s interest in your next photo?
