I was in Los Angeles, California and decided to visit Robertson Boulevard and have lunch at The Ivy, a restaurant famous for its celebrity clientele. Having visited the area a few times, I noticed a beautiful boutique store next to the restaurant that displayed gorgeous gowns. I really wanted to photograph the guys so I worked up the courage to walk into the store and offer my services. The owner visited my website and welcomed me to come back the following day. My only light source for this image was daylight coming through a single skylight just above the model. I asked the seamstress to join the model in this image and had to find a pose for my model that would allow her to tilt her face upwards allowing the light from above to illuminate her.
