BetterPhoto Basics: The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Taking Photos Like a Pro

This is a book is tied to and somewhat based on a website called BetterPhoto. It is aimed at absolute beginners.

If you are just starting out or want a refresher, this book is well worth your consideration. There are assignments and real world examples, explained in bite-sized morsels that almost anyone can understand.

The author’s style is friendly, approachable and easy to read. Whether it’s help with shutter speeds, aperture, ISO or autofocus, the questions most beginners want to ask are answered in this book.

If you are a real beginner, I can’t see how you’d be disappointed in this book. If you are intermediate or beyond, skip this and look for something more meaty.

Highly recommended.
