Announcing Scott Bourne’s New Giveaway For Photographers

I assume that you’re interested so here’s how to win.

First, go to Twitter and if you don’t already have an account there, set one up. It’s free. Then follow me – Scott Bourne. Go to http://www.twitter.com/scottbourne and click on the Follow button that appears under my profile.

Then, and this is the last step, simply write out a Tweet.

Here’s what you need to type (minus the quotes)

“Win a Nikon D5000 (or 5,000 photo scans) from @ScanCafe and Scott Bourne. Pls RT. Details here: http://bit.ly/4mJGr”

That’s it. Just follow me on Twitter. (http://www.twitter.com/scottbourne) Send out that Tweet – and you’re done.

But this is important – only do this ONE TIME! It does not in any way improve your odds if you Tweet this message more than once. If you do send it more than once, you’ll just make your followers mad and you won’t increase your odds.

Here’s some of the fine print.

You must be at least 18 years old to win. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. The decision of the judges is final. The winner will be announced on Twitter.com on August 7, 2009, sometime before Midnight.

This contest is void where prohibited by law. The contest is open to anyone, world wide as long as you live in a country where contests such as this one are legal. If you live in Quebec Canada for instance, you may not participate since contests like this one are illegal there without payment of a bond. It’s your responsibility to ensure that contests like this one are not prohibited by your local law. Actual prize awards will only happen after your execution of an affidavit of eligibility.

You may choose between the new Nikon D5000 and 5000 scans from ScanCafe*. If you choose the scans, you will receive an actual gift certificate from Scan Cafe valued at $1450 to spend on any ScanCafe products or services.

*NOTE: Only US residents may select the ScanCafe gift certificate option. If we have a winner located outside the US, they will only be able to receive the camera.

Winners located outside the US are responsible for paying actual shipping cost of the camera from Seatlle, WA to their location. Neither Bourne Media Group or ScanCafe will be responsible for delays in prize delivery caused by Customs clearing.

We check my Twitter account for a list of followers. We throw all that information at a random number generator and pick a winner.
