Ahh those photos make me proud to be a cracker. Next time you’re in the state please do visit us at the Kennedy Space Center. Not only do we have a lot of cool space stuff, but we’re also on a pretty nice wild life refuge.

I am stunned at the quality of these images – and utterly amazed at what you are able to get out of just a few days. Sure, an amazing location and brilliant guide helps. Still, I wouldn’t be able to produce half the number of images with half the quality of these in twice the amount of time, regardless of any external help and fancy equipment. Truly inspiring.

Great collection if imagery, Scott. Thanks for sharing.

Can you explain more about the “flash-blur?” Are you actually using strobes (perhaps your SB900 you reviewed?) – maybe with rear curtain sync – in this environment? If so, to what distance is this practical? I would think with the long telephotos you use your falloff would be too great.

Any details would be appreciated.
