Canon G9 Offers Great Video Too

I recently had the pleasure of driving some exotic cars in Malibu. We shot pictures and video of the cars using nothing but a Canon G9. Pretty amazing quality if you ask me.

    Cool video. Rather glad I have a G9 and a mac. Now, where do I get the cars?

    My G9 has mostly been on the shelf. I use a Nikon D200 most of the time. However, the video is really inspiring. May have to break down and experiment. Initially I found the menu system very annoying. I had difficulty with the dials on the back in choosing options. It may just be a Canon vs. Nikon issue. My Nikon p&s’ behave like all Nikon menu systems.

    Using two fairly good consumer (not even prosumer) products a really high quality video emerges. Amazing. I think we sometime forget how far technology has come in just a couple of years.

    Just ordered my G9 and a 16GB SDHC card from Amazon. Can’t wait to get my hands on it
