Cool New Aperture 2.0 Feature

When I first started using Aperture – one of the main complaints I heard from actual working pros, was that you couldn’t export the XMP data.

It took me a while to notice this, but Apple actually listened and Aperture 2.0 offers XMP out.

Now exported versions created with the Export>Master command can include IPTC data. (You can also still choose to export the file minus IPTC data and leave it with an XMP sidecar file.)

What is the format of the exported file?

As I understand it, Aperture still will not import an XMP sidecar file. What’s up with that??
